So it turns out my question about a certain tinned American cheese exploded & spurred a vent post – Reddit, my apologies!

So, about Australian cheeses – my absolute favourite Aussie cheddar cheese that i can easily grab at my local supermarket is Mercey Valley! It’s a strong, bitey, creamy & crumbly cheddar from Tasmania. Freaking delicious on a cheese board with chilled red grapes, sliced crisp pink lady apples, Aussie seasoned pork, leg ham & roast beef with a glass of Pepperjack chardonnay (South Australian wine).

For gift boxes, i love Bruny Island Cheese Co., also a Tassie company. It goes great with a bottle of Pikorua sauvignon blanc (New Zealand, pretty sweet for a sav but i have a sweet tooth). I cannot recommend Tasmanian cheeses enough – they’re so delicious!

…and yes, I’m going to get two of the must-not-be-named tinned cheese for my birthday just for the novelty of trying it & aging my own cheese 😜
