    Hummingbird Cake originated in Jamaica but gained popularity here in the southern US in the 70’s. It’s typically a layered spice cake with crushed pineapple, banana, and pecan, with a cream cheese frosting.

  2. This looks really nice. I can never get fresh hummingbird where I live – it’s a really short season.

  3. That banana is so elegant. Great plate great dessert- my only critique would be pic one spot for the pineapple!
