
I don’t really know the difference between porridges and soups.
The broth was just “better than bouillon chicken” which is vegan even though it says vegetarian on it. I added that to the water.
Then once it was boiling reduced it to simmering and added diced tofu, carrots, rice and chickpeas. Was mostly cheap. I don’t remember the cost of the base.
I used 8 cups of water. 3 large carrots. 1 pack of the tofu from Walmart. Not really sure how much rice I used. About 1/3rd of the base but added garlic seasoning to it. It’s really good. I saw they had a “beef” vegan one too. I’ll definitely have to try it for my next brown gravy.
It made about 8 large bowls worth. This was just a tiny bowl.
