It costs me $8USD, and you get loads of servings. I get at least 3-4 meals out of it.
2tbsp Butter
1-2 cloves of minced garlic
1/2 onion minced
2 large sliced carrots
Celery is optional, if you like it like that
6-7 cups of chicken broth
Rotisserie chicken
A can of biscuits, I use all of them except for 2-3. Quarter each biscuit
Melt the butter over high heat. Add the garlic cloves and carrots. When the carrots get tender add the onions. Cook that till fragrant. Then add the salt, pepper, thyme, parsley and chicken broth. Season it as you want. Bring that to a boil and then plop in the biscuit dough. Bring it down to a simmer, until you get a nice thick gravy. Then add the rotisserie chicken for 3-4 minutes and voila. It looks like slop but tastes like heaven when you’re sick, or needing a filling meal on a budget.
