Cookie Dough: (Or use store-bought cookie dough, works great too!)

• 1/2 cup butter (soft)
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Filling:
• 2 cup kadayif (shredded phyllo)
• 4 tbsp melted butter
• 5-6 tbsp pistachio paste or pistachio butter. I used crunchy pistachio paste
• (Optional: chopped pistachios for crunch)

👩🏻‍🍳 How to make it:

  1. Make the dough:
    Mix butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips. Set aside.
    (Or skip this step and use store-bought dough!)
  2. Make the filling:
    Mix kadayif with melted butter and pistachio paste. Roll into small balls. Freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Assemble:
    Wrap cookie dough around frozen pistachio balls.
  4. Bake:
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and enjoy!
    Golden on the outside, gooey pistachio inside!
