Kids requested IHOP.

I took my time and successfully crafted a very satisfying and calorie conscious breakfast. I would actually call it decadent compared my current normal meals.

Original short stack no butter (390 calories)
1 pork sausage link that my daughter didn't want (105 calories)
2 tbsp sugar free syrup (10 cal)
Black coffee (0 calories)

Total – 505 calories

The syrup was just enough to give the pancakes that sweet taste and a bit of moisture. I did not use a lot.

I got the veggie eggwhite omelette when i was there! It was like 450 calories or something? Very filling.

  2. My go to at our local breakfast place (not ihop) is two eggs scrambled and a side of sausage links. I just get it a la carte.

That is a success and it looks great!!

I always spoon a little of my coffee onto pancakes for added moisture and flavour. Goes great with a modest drizzle of sugar free syrup too 🙂

Looks good! Sugar free syrup is the move. But I think I would have traded 1 pancake for a little butter
