Iโm using stock images but I am always on the lookout for new cheeses to try whenever I go to the store. Credit to various cheese websites, resources, and sellers for the cheese images and cheese facts. If any of you know some cheeses that I havenโt done yet I would love some input!
Here is your daily cheese facts: This cheese is made by Cherry Grove Farm. Trilby is washed in Dadโs Hat Rye Whiskey as it matures, and enrobed in fig leaves from their farm or a neighboring organic farm which are soaked in the rye. Huge flavors full of beef and buttermilk, plus a sweetness from the leaf – creamy, buttery texture and rye aroma. This is a washed rind cheese with a creamsicle hued rind, but it is common for a touch of blue or white molds to appear. Trilby is a petit pasteurized round. It’s a boozy, funky paradise for specialty farmstead cheese lovers. Trilby is a winner of the Good Food Awards for 2024!
Also as a note: I post my daily cheese here as well as in my r/dailycheese subreddit.

What if there were tiny privates carved into the cheese underneath the fig leaves?
Is it soft or hard cheese?

One time in Oregon the cheese came wrapped in a maple leaf. Is wrapping cheese in leaves a thing? Also wish I could remember what it was, it was good as hell
