Lose the orange slice and just zest it overtop if you wanted the contrasting color.

I don’t like the way fresh , caramelized and or macerated fruit look or taste together on a plate … for fruit I like created a caramel or syrup and flavour with spice and while it’s hot drop in all the fruit I want to use for plating or eat .. That way they are caramelized and soft and their flavours come out but they retain their vibrant colour , flavour profile and vitamins … It would be like cooking veg al dente .. the best part are the colours and universal shine you get as well as a more homogeneous look …
It throws me be cause what is the dark stuff on the left ? Blueberry compote with a very dark colour or the salted caramel that is a bit over ?
Anyway all in all good looking tasty dish . Don’t mean to come of condescending . Just sharing my personal take .. If you enjoyed the dish don’t change anything unless you wanna try something new !

This one stands out the most out of all the ones I’ve see today. The contrast between the citrusy vibrant Colors and the dark caramel and French toast with the perfect size, perfectly centred on the dish. I would be pleased to see this in any Michelin stared restaurant

Really nice plating, unique bowl gives it even more class it looks great also salty caramel is so underrated. Looks delicious maybe I would have made an orange sumpreme just so you can eat everything in a bowl. Looks delicious.
