So you’re nominated head of the world cheese council and tasked with eliminating one cheese forever. Which cheese is going and why?
I love cheese and I like fruit. I like apples and cheese, chutneys with cheese, quince jelly with cheese but please for the love of all that is holy don’t put fruit or berries in my cheeses!

Brie. I’ve tried so hard to like it but I just can’t. Tastes like feet to me.
You are correct. Fruit on the side. Many flavored cheeses are bad cheese trying to hide it with shit.
Probably going to get downvoted out of existence for this, but Swiss (like the slices from the store). It’s just bitter nothing that melts well so people convince themselves it’s good. It’s so overpowering if you try to enjoy it by itself, and the texture isn’t even that good unmelted if it’s thick-sliced.
White Stilton with apricots is delicious.
Cheese with added fruit, ginger, chillies and such is the work of the devil and shall be treated as such.
Cranberry Stilton is bomb
Gouda with caraway seed. Only in bread do I like caraway!
This cheese was made from the milk of many Brits.
That godawful Cranberry Cheddar that Whole Foods gets every fall
Although i agree with you 99% Wensleydale with cranberries is actually really good!
You sound like me. But by happenstance I just tried a Wensleydale with peppers and honey and it was love at first bite.
I think specifically President Brie. I enjoy Brie and I really hate what President did to it. They actually made me think that I didn’t like Brie. I like that it’s being made available mass market, but they can be better. It’s a shame.
I don’t want them gone forever as much as I want them to improve.
I literally just bought a small taste of this one I saw at the store today because I like it so much! I feel attacked 😂
If Velveeta counts as cheese, I’m getting rid of it. If it doesn’t, my work here is already done.
Maggot cheese because… Maggots

I recently visited the Wesleydale creamery at Hawes in North York. I tasted most of the cheese they had on offer. The ones I didn’t taste were the ones I had bought before. Honestly, I liked them all. The only one I would give up would be the apricot. The cranberry was one of my favs.
Hika Bay!!!!
I don’t like truffles in cheese it just tastes like rot to me.
I love this and usually get around Christmas at Costco.
Cannot disagree more, I love cheese with fruit in it
Every time I’ve tried cheese with stuff inside its just been bad cheese with stuff added to make it seem less bad. I’ve tried with nuts, chilli, pepper, fruits, garlic plus some I’ve forgotten.
There’s probably some really good ones but until now all the ones I’ve tried have only been a meh gimmick.
I currently have this cheese at home and it’s quite nice in a salad , cut into small cubes
I respectfully but enthusiastically disagree.
It should not work, but it does, and i think it is spectacular.
The fruit cuts through the claggy mouth feel of many crumbly cheeses and balances out the acidity so well.
It is one of the best cheeses to munch on its own, just break it off and enjoy.
I really like Wensleydale with cranberries but I at least have the good grace to feel mildly embarrassed about it
So this is going to make me sound very American but mass market parmesan the stuff that you can sell as parmesan anywhere but America, I hate it so much
Where i live “Yanceys Fancy” is very popular. I have no freakin idea why.
I hate Wensleydale
What? This is a delightful cheese!
Supermarket Mozzarella, plastic slices and the blocks of plasticine they sell labelled cheddar and Gouda you find, also at supermarkets
