It a nice looking plate, but the pea puree seems grainy. Might want to pass it through a tamis.

  2. It looks beautiful and delicious but I’ve always hated mint and peas together, I just don’t get it – why is this such a big thing?

  3. I love this plate. My only thing would be the big mint leaves as garnish. Mint is such a strong flavor that I don’t want to eat a full leaf in the middle of a meal. They look good but I’m in the “everything on the plate should be edible” camp and that big leaf is gonna ruin the palate.

  4. Looks great! My once concern is that there’s maybe too much pea purée? Especially if it’s minted.

It looks like it could potentially overpower the lamb? But maybe not, maybe it’s as delicious as it looks!

Everything this subreddit has taught me is that pea-mint purée is overpowered from a plating perspective

Loving the vibrant green, but the ooze from the steak is kiiiiinda….ruining the feng shui.

Shoulda let your meat rest longer. That pool of grease really takes away from the visual. Looks great otherwise

Why is everyone in this thread calling this a steak? It says right in the title that it’s a lamb chop.

Also agree with the sentiments: Rest longer, maybe even pat dry before plating to avoid the “ooze” and drop the mint leaves. Otherwise, looks fantastic!

That a great looking dish! I would 100% blend the purée longer and possibly use less. Otherwise, I would order this.

  10. I love this plate, I don’t think there is anything visually wrong with it, and it sounds delicious. I think most of the commenters are just trying to find things wrong with it.
