Maybe its just because photo but the white block kinda looks like styrofoam to me. Left half is beautiful, I feel like right half maybe could look neater to match it.
I think this would look better spread out. The shards look like styrofoam, as mentioned in another comment. The gel looks like snot and placed as an afterthought (as do the shards). The description is clear and concise. The plating is not.
It does sound very delicious though!
I think it would work if the components were cleaner. Maybe consider using molds for sharper/cleaner lines.
I personally love the shades of white when it’s intentional like this. I’ve seen it done really well. You’re close.
I’m a noob so I have no thought but I adore the concept.
This has no contrast hence why it will always look flat and unappealing. Your eye is drawn to nothing and nothing else after. It’s also not monochromatic as these are not shades of white but various pale coloured items. If something is yellow it’s yellow no matter what shade of yellow it is.
