All the separate items look like they are trying to run away from each other on that particular plate. Since it doesn’t have a wide rim it would look a lot nicer being more tightly together.

What is with the spacing on the plate?
Awkward plating.

Cucumbers are way too big imo. Part of a perfectly cooked steak is the crust developed on the outside, putting a bunch of stuff on top of that hides the sear and reduces the quality

I like all of this stuff, but your plating is like a party before everyone gets drunk enough to mingle with each other. It might benefit from some fresh herb, like scallion, cilantro, and Thai basil. Cut your cucumbers thinner, or keep them chunky and crush them gently in your hand before macerating them in the dressing. Try holding your hand higher above the food when sprinkling with sesame seeds or furikake for an even distribution of seasoning. Looks tasty, this is my favorite style of cuisine. Furikake gets my nipples hard.

Extremely awkward plating. Why is everything on the rim of the plate?
Food itself. Cucumbers are very thick and clunky. Caramelized onions are sitting in a brown clump by themselves (very unattractive). Not sold on the idea of steak over a bed of hummus, but even if I was, that steak is completely hidden. Covering a (hopefully) well seared steak in dry seasoning out of a jar is just sad. Honestly, this whole plate is a total miss for me.

Well, looks like you had fun and the caramelized onions look great!

Feel like this is you trying to be to ambitious. Execution just isn’t there playing wise, from what I can see the steak has a good cook but is covered by the topping. Definitely recommend focusing on making a cohesive dish.
