My new favourite lunch – tofu, edamame and cottage cheese (sometimes I sub out the tofu for 1 can of sardines, shown in last 2 slides) 341cal and 35g of protein.
The calories and macros shown are for the tofu lunch.
Nice. I’ve never seen sardines in brine before, where I live they are always in oil

Maybe I should mention: my dad and I have eaten these sardines on hikes and camping (not in bear area) since I was a little kid. So to me it’s kind of nostalgic plus delicious. I’ve been made fun of my whole life for eating like a squirrel. But it turns out it’s actually pretty good for me so I’m happy about that 🙂 sometimes we cook the sardines over open flame and that’s good too.

Kippered snacks are delicious! My dad always has these as an afternoon snack. We grew up eating these, especially on camping trips.
It’s kinda hard to find in my local grocery store. I’ve thought about just ordering a bunch online and filling my pantry for a few months. 😂
