Newbie here and I am NOT a professional but I am very passionate and learning. I can’t have gluten (celiac) so I usually go with edamame pasta. I didn’t have a lot of squid ink left but I also think that these noodles don’t absorb the ink as well as regular ones do. Either way, this was delicious. Lots of piquillo peppers, harissa and a touch of Sicilian pesto.

    If this is truly an amateur dish…bravo. Not sure it would eat well given the plate choice but it certainly grabs your attention. Anyone downvoting this should be ashamed

  2. so the edamame pasta should be light greenish is color, plus squid ink plus harissa makes light purple/ squid color? Did you know/try that before? Either way I agree with others, bravo. Certainly grabs your attention and plated well. I actually like the plate choice. Color works.

    Not gonna lie I’ve been thinking about a themed restaurant, like a pirates of the Caribbean theme, or mtg theme, or WoW theme, something outlandish and fun. This would definitely make the menu 100%
