Creamy Penicillium rind brandy washed cheese from Champagne-Ardenne. It was reduced because it was on the "use by" date, so will be ready to eat in about a week.

  1. Whoa, look at those brainy wrinkles!

Check back and let us know what you eat it with and how it tastes.

  2. “so it will be ready to eat in about a week” HA, so true and I have run out of ways of trying to tell my customers to let it run over the best before to have it at its best for a lot of soft cheeses without actual saying it.

I have a few fav customers that I’ll just give “out of date” cheese to and tell them they can use it as wall paper paste but I’m certain not telling them to eat it.

  3. Langres is one of the strongest cheese I had, not in a blue kind of way but more like a farm taste.

For me it was a little bit too much. It was matured for quite some time, so maybe that is why. I should try a younger one maybe. But a fantastic product nontheless.

    Have fun (:
