I’m using stock images but I am always on the lookout for new cheeses to try whenever I go to the store. Credit to “Cheese.com” for the cheese image and cheese facts. If any of you know some cheeses that I haven’t done yet I would love some input!
Here is your daily cheese facts: Artikaas Vintage Lot 18 (or Artikaas 18 Month Aged Gouda), undergoes an extensive 18-month ageing process. Made in the Netherlands, the cheese is crafted from cow’s milk. This Gouda cheese exhibits a complex texture, featuring subtle crystallization and a rich ochre hue within. It’s an awarded cheese. At the 2024 World Championship Cheese Contest (in the USA), Vintage Lot 18 secured the prestigious first runner-up position, while also winning Best of Class (first place) in the category: Gouda, Extra Aged (over 10 months).
Also as a note: I post my daily cheese here as well as in my r/dailycheese subreddit.
