I love making these collages and seeing how I spend my calories for the day, so I thought I’d share! I had a lot of errands to run and was out until early afternoon, so I treated myself to an iced coffee before the long drive home today. Love that iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso from Starbucks even though it’s such a mouthful to day that I always stumble over my words when ordering at the till lol

For my first meal I made some summer rolls with carrot, cucumber, lettuce, spring onions and surimi mixed with some kewpie (the.best.). Then I made a chicken and broccoli stir fry for dinner that I ate with some leftover potatoes (I’d give it a 6/10 taste wise 😅). And for a snack I had some grapes and cottage cheese broughie bites in two varieties (blackcurrant preserve / tomato sprinkled with nori)

My favourites were the iced coffee and summer rolls. Hope you all had some delicious food too today!

  1. I’m intrigued! What’s a broughie?? Google is useless and keeps trying to show me brownies. lol

You could order the drink online for pickup so you don’t have to recite it every time.

  3. Just a warning, I worked at Starbucks for several years and your shaken espresso is definitely more calories than it says. Our oatmilk has a shitload of calories, and the drink is supposed to have only a splash of the milk.

It’s commonly known/discussed on the Starbucks subreddit that most baristas use way too much milk in the shaken espresso. This is because we were yelled at by customers for “not filing the cup up.” Yours definitely was made “wrong” and more calories than the website said. There should only be a tiny swirl of milk on top.

Our oatmilk has 170 calories per 8 oz. I always suggest people get almond (60 kcal) or coconut (80kcal) if they are watching calories! Sorry, I hope this helps your end goals if you go to Starbucks another day!

  4. I don’t know why I never thought of doing summer rolls for lunch. Thanks for the idea!
