I’d think twice before every purchasing belgioioso cheese.
I worked for the company for a few years, saw tons of Osha, and food safety violations.
Working for corporate I was surprised to see they didn’t sanitize their shred lines unless they knew of an inspection (that’s only a few times a year!)
I also worked for their freedom plant and have pictures of bugs in the cheese. This happened daily for over a month, I reported it daily, was told to just keep running because production was more important. They didn’t care. I was then moved from that plant so I wouldn’t be a “problem” and was told I needed to follow the instructions of management or it would cost the company money.
I brought it to the attention of Gustavo whose only concern was that I had pictures of it. They then brought in their corporate lawyer to sit me down and make sure I couldn’t sue before telling me to basically get fucked.
