I love the smart ones dinners! I like adding fruits, salads or one of those mini dinner rolls on the side to beef them up a bit. The three cheese ziti with meatballs is the absolute best!

I recommend adding veggies – frozen veggies (whatever your preference) are super easy to keep on hand and prep quickly along with the frozen meal.
My favorites are the broccoli cheddar potatoes, thin crust pizza, and roasted turkey 😸

I like the Creamy Rigatoni with chicken and broccoli and the Three Cheese Ziti (with or without meatballs)

Used to eat these when I was on Weight Watchers back in the day. The only gross one I didn’t like was something like Shrimp Marinara. All the rest were pretty tasty and filling when paired with a side veggie.

I like these but oh man, I aint never seen this combo before. Alfredo with some eggs on the side. Looks tasty tho

Is the bottom one scrambled egg?? I don’t know if you know but… you can just break eggs into a jug and put them in the microwave, without all the stuff they pack into ready meals.
Absolutely no judgement, ready meals have a great place and are better than ordering takeout. I just wondered if that particular one makes much sense.

I tried the roasted turkey meal a few days ago. It was okay. They were on sale at a local store and I like to have a couple of easy to prepare things in the freezer. Normally I make my own frozen dinners but hey, on sale for a great price is good!
I also got a scrambled egg one and something else but I can’t remember which one. I have to use caution with sodium but the ones I got weren’t the worst.

Ham and cheese was my go to!

Make a large salad with vegetables and walmart has a fat free Italian dressing that is 15 calories per serving. I literally use 2 of those 2.5 ounce disposable salad containers, fill them to the brim, and it’s only 50 calories. Pair that with one of these and it’s like under 400 calories and you’re full

I don’t know if they still make it, but they used to have a veggie lasagna that was wayyyyyyy better than it should have been.

Try the Vermont Cheddar Mac and Cheese Lean Cuisine but add a packet of tuna.. I like those flavored tuna pouches. Definitely was my go to before I had to really reduce my carb intake due to diabetes

I add avocado and salsa to that ham and cheese scramble 😋😋

I feel like any low calorie TV dinner that has chicken is always horrible and the chicken is like rubbery 😖

I always find the meat in pre-prepared foods like this to be really poor quality. Weird texture, weird flavor. Frozen meals are great options to stretch a meal, though. I like mac and cheese and the lean cuisine sweet potato ravioli.

That’s an absurd amount of sodium. Frozen dinners are just generally not healthy, even if the calories are low.

It’s also half your daily recommended amount of sodium! You have to be careful with those pre made meals, they put tons of sodium in there to make it taste better. Make sure to hydrate and balance the rest of your day with lower sodium foods!

I eat the ziti with meatballs every day for lunch.

Michael Angelo brand Eggplant Parm is great but I wouldn’t microwave it. I would only choose it if you access to a countertop/toaster or regular oven. 420 cal/14 g protein

I know I’m late to the game, but I had to say this: People can say what they want about frozen meals, but I loved them, growing-up—especially the Lean Cuisine stuff. And they’re still cheap, too. I’m going to start making those and SmartOnes part of my diet, again, because I had quite a few of them, early in the year. Really, really helpful to those of us whom hate cooking lol.
