Just cut out the middle man and start making foods in metric. BBC has good recipes.

  2. My issue is sometimes the listing on my Loseit app won’t have a measurement in grams available for when I go to add something

  3. This is the worst. Also when the serving size says like per “slice” or “serving” who would make an entry like that?

I have a scale that changes measurements with a click of a button so I just weigh it based on what the package says then record it. If my tracker uses a different system, I can find it just by clicking

  5. For my creamer it’s listed in ml on the bottle, so I measured that once in a little shot-glass-sized measuring cup, and weighed that in grams on my scale. Now I just make sure I don’t go over 35 grams worth of creamer, and I don’t have to dirty a measuring cup every single morning.

I’ve become a mathematical genius in the measurements department, lol. You change everything over so much that you finally memorize it.

And worse case, I’m asking alexa while I’m cooking.

  7. I hate the fact Americans use cups in their recipes. So go ahead and add nine eight’s a cup of rice then three thirds a cup of beef follow by a fourteenth a cup of sugar.

    It’s 2023, use grams.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but since 1 cup of liquid is 240 ml, and my scale only has oz/g/kg, I’ve been measuring it out as 240 grams. Is this accurate?
