Hi there, A while back I asked about what American cheese I should get for a French cheese monger friend. Well I got amazing answers and so I started to get some of them. Unfortunately I discovered today that Europe actually seems to ban Cheese imports.
I got some sealed canned Cougar Gold and possibly also going to get some sealed Rouge River Blue. I was planning on putting them all in a [Yeti Lunch bag cooler](https://mountainhardwareandsports.com/sports-outdoors/coolers/soft-sided-coolers/daytrip-lunch-bag-cooler-navy/) along with a few frozen [blue cooling blocks](https://www.amazon.com/Fit-Fresh-Coolers-Reusable-Lasting/dp/B07CTXRKH8)
I am traveling first to Dublin then flying from Dublin to Germany, from there its all just train rides from country to country as I give away the cheese to friends.
Has anyone else done this before? What were your experiences? Did your cheese get confiscated? Did you declare it?
Do you think the sealed canned cheese has a greater change of being accepted than the other kinds of cheeses?
