Damn man, mad props on adhering to such a low cal diet. I’m a short gal of less than half your current weight, losing on 1300-1500 and I’m constantly plagued by thoughts about food. Such an inspiration, thank you 😁

Just curious, aside from IF, did you find yourself sticking to a particular food composition? (Such as volume eating, high fat for satiety, high protein, balanced meals etc)

  2. Dude – you look absolutely diesel. If we would fight you would win every time LOL. Congrats on hitting a starting goal

Man, yet another person doing what I perceive to be impossible. Hats off to you man, that is no easy task.

Were you really muscular before or have you gained a lot of muscle at a deficit? Trying hard to gain muscle right now but I’m finding it hard to get as much protein as I’d like. Would love to hear your thoughts, you look great!

  5. Holy shit, congratulations. I am a fraction of your size and I have a lot of trouble sticking to 1500 a day. Did you struggle at all with binge eating while dieting? Also, how did you manage mental hunger/cravings (as opposed to genuine hunger)?

  6. This post is really motivating man. Thank you a ton. Going to get on this diet and workout routine

  7. Man I miss the gym. I wish I had the motivation to really do weightlifting. I lost tons of weight and though I’ve gained some back. I’m more disappointed I didn’t gain muscle mass

Awesome job! I guess the weight loss success makes up for the disappointment of being a rangers and dolphins fan (I’m joking, you’re killing it keep it up)

  9. you put in work my guy, reminds me of when i dropped from 250 -190. Keep it up! you are inspirational!!!

  10. I’m more impressed that you’ve thanked everyone whose comment on what a great job you’ve done! I kid!

I’m 6’3” and about 305. I need to get my shit together, and you’re a good example that it can be done. Good job!

  11. Wow! As a 5’0 female who struggles to eat 1500 a day (I always end up eating 1700-2000 πŸ˜…) your words are motivating as hell. It’s so true, if you can do it, I definitely can. Great progress!

  12. Damn dude nice work.. Almost downvoted for the dolphins shorts though.. GO PATS.

  13. Are you sure you’re calculating correctly?

    * Your BMR is about 2,300kcal (according to calculator.net).

    * Sedentary TDEE would be about 2,700.

    * 40lb in 6 months is 1.5lb a week, which is 770kcal deficit per day.
    * So your TDEE if eat 1,500 is 1,500+770 = only 2,270 which is below what your BMR should be.

Is it possible you’re eating a 3-500 more than 1,500 on average? Which is not a problem, just curious!
