From Pinkerton’s in San Antonio, Texas.

Burnt ends, sliced brisket, pickles and pickled onions.
Sliced sausage. Coleslaw, potato salad and Mac & cheese. Dude it was HEAVEN.

Lived here a while back and I’m back for a wedding. You know that means mandatory barbecue trip 🔥😋

That cole slaw and potato salad looks sad. Mac is even possibly prepackaged.

  2. Besides the atrocious bread it looks amazing. Must have costed an arm and a leg from what I have seen here.

  3. First time I had bbq in Texas was in college station, getting the ”Aggie special”, which was a hunk of meat, a half an onion, a pile of wonder bread, bbq sauce, maybe a pickle and a big knife. It was also nowhere near the 63 bucks you somehow paid for this, and I have had much better bbq in Texas, and even in NY than that standard “wonder bread and a hunk of meat” setup.

  4. Everyone wants to find something to criticize, but that brisket looks heaven on a plate

I miss good brisket so much. I live in California now and they have tri tip, which in absolutely no way compares to the greatness of brisket.

If you ever get the chance, you should go to Lockhart. That place has got some great BBQ as well that’s fairly priced

  7. Texas BBQ is so good but it lasts me like 3 days. Im amazed some people can eat that in one sitting.
