GF basically pulled this together blindfolded. Some marinated cukes on the side. I know some people think the chicken/rice looks bland but you def have to try it sometime if you haven't. Poaching the chicken in a lot of aromatics and using the broth to cook the rice…then the sauces, super moist chicken thighs. I get some might not like the soft skin, though there are recipes out there doing variations to get crispy skin.

I love chicken rice. most ppl dont get it, thats all about the rice. full of flavour of the broth. and there is nothing simple with this dish. I put hours into it. its not “just” chicken rice, its one of the best dishes in the world
