Simple recipe:
1 stick butter
1 tbs vanilla extract
16oz small marshmallows
800 (8 sleeves) of Jeez-Its

Melt the butter in a big pot
When melted, add 10oz of marshmallows
When smooth, add in the vanilla extract
Then incorporate the communion wafers
THEN add the last of the marshmallows.
JUST as the recently added marshmallows are melting, pour into a greased 8×8 square dish.

Let cool, cut and serve.

When I lived overseas, there’s a street vendor that would fry the negative of the wafers (square with a bunch of holes) with brown sugar. It was surprisingly good. Crunchy and sweet.

  2. What part of the body of Christ is that meant to… you know what? I don’t want to know.

You should post this on /r/shittyfoodporn where it is more… appropriate.

Even hardcore Catholics believe they are just crackers until the blessing during mass

  5. This is the exact sensory experience I’d want from a 3am stoner snack

  6. I recently did these and found they were better if you toast the Jeezits before you make the treats. Helped with the texture

Only thing I miss about my mom forcing me to go to Mass is Communion. They always had the best shitty wine and I loved these wafers.

Well, I miss the music a bit, too. Helped me learn how to read sheet music.

But I don’t miss either enough to go on my own now that I’m an adult lmao

  8. Further evidence I REALLY need to read the post commentary before viewing the image omfg 😂

    Nabisco Communion Wafers!

You know Redditors, Nabisco Communion Wafers go down smooth, they won’t stick to the roof of your mouth like those cheap imitation sacraments.

Sure they cost a little more but when it comes to your eternal salvation, isn’t it worth a couple extra bucks in the collection plate?

Remember folks, next time you go to the rail for that body and blood, ask for the “Host with the Most!”, ask for Nabisco

  10. [90s movie trailer voice] You’ve had the body; you’ve had the blood. Now it’s time to cumplete the holy Trinity of Christ.
