    these are so good as a lazy weeknight meal, if you want that authentic sushi rice flavor make sure you’re seasoning the rice with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt while it’s still warm so it absorbs properly.

    Yum, as someone who is not vegan but doesn’t like raw fish or shellfish, this looks amazing. I always do avocado, cucumber or pickled radish sushi. Thanks for the tofu idea.

    I love a sushi bowl! I’ve never done tofu though, usually just like tempeh + mayo + sriracha + spicy sweet chili.

    I don’t know what I’m doing wrong – I keep trying to shred tofu and nothing works. I’m using the super firm, high protein tofu. I’ve tried it straight out of the package and I’ve also tried it frozen and thawed and pressed. But no matter what I use to try to grate it the tofu just disintegrates
