
I've never had halal cart chicken and rice before, but decided to make it after watching a YouTube video.
It's very tasty and not too hard to make. I think my plating could have been better. Hard to see the rice. But it's there under the chicken and white sauce.

Rough recipe. More of an ingredient list. Recipe came from a YouTube video from a popular content creator.
Chicken Marinade/Finish sauce
2 TBS Lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground Coriander seed
1 TBS oregano
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup olive oil.
Salt
Black pepper
Some MSG
Combine all. Blitz with stick blender
Divide in half
Half for marinade
Half for finishing sauce prior to finishing
Marinade chicken things with marinade for a couple hours. No More
Sear/cook chicken in a pan
After cooking, chop chicken. Re-heat in a pan after cooking rice, adding reserved marinade.
Rice
(Make in the same pan used to cook chicken. Don’t clean)
Butter
Ground Turmeric
Ground Cumin
1 1/2 cups Rice
Salt/msg
Black pepper
2 cups Water/stock
White Sauce
1/2 cup Mayo
1/2 cup Greek full fat yogurt
1 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP White vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
Black pepper
Flat leaf parsley
Salt
MSG
Spicy Sauce
Harrisa
“Hot sauce”
Garnish
Iceberg lettuce (“shredded”)
Yellow onion (sliced and rinsed)
Tomatoes
