Delicious meaty and garlicky homemade mici are a Romanian staple and no BBQ should even happen without them. Perfect for a BBQ gathering.

  2. Those look ridiculously good. Any chance you could drop a recipe here? I want to make these.

  3. Grew up eating these at family gatherings. One of our favourites!

I was introduced to a similar version by a friend from Montenegro: they do a similar sausage they call cevapi and eat it with a cream cheese product kajmak(?) and chopped raw onions with a flatbread.

So I’ve been doing iterations of that whenever we grill mititei and I can’t have it any other way now 🤤

  4. Found my fellow Romanian! With some fresh bread. I started eating them with boars head horseradish sauce. A little kick. *chef’s kiss*

  5. I had some Moldoveni friends and this was common at a cook out or bbq. Also pork marinated with mayonnaise and onions and seasoning put on flat metal skewers and grilled served with salads and mamaliga and raw onions and sour cream.
