    Sear ground beef and pork. Raw ground into pot, high heat, lid on, render water and fat out. Salt. Lid off, boil until water is gone, stir constantly as beef sears in the rendered fat. Remove beef once well seared, leave rendered fat

    Onion carrots celery garlic through a meat grinder. A lot more than you think (veg mostly water). Add to rendered fat in pot. Salt. Cook until water is gone and veg starts to caramelize. Once water gone, Stir constantly

    Add beef back, add tomato sauce and beef stock

    Low simmer for 6-8 hours

    If I were sentenced to death by submersion in boiling Bolognese, I would contest the public outcry that it is NOT cruel and unusual punishment.
