    Tried Dave’s hot chicken for the first time. It tasted bad, was 1200 calories for 2 chicken strips, bread and sauce, and cost more than I’d like.

    Me when I realized a “Chai tea latte” isn’t just brewed tea and steamed milk 😭

    (if the cafe has actual Chai tea, you can order a London fog with Chai instead of earl grey and request sf vanilla syrup for something more delicious + less calorie!)

    I hate this feeling! I used to snag a cheesestick when I’d make them for my kids, but not for 90 calories a piece!😭

    This was me last night making “Mac and cheese” but the only pasta I had was very old edamame pasta.. the butter, cheese and milk mixture was great but the pasta was absolutely foul and fouled the whole thing. Huge calorie bomb for nothing lol

    absolutely. attempting to maintain weightloss has made me more selective when eating out. if i’m gonna eat half of my TDEE in one meal, it has to be either a food completely novel to me, or something i know to be one of the best dishes i’ve ever had

    Honestly if I take a bite of high calorie food and it isn’t absolutely delicious like I’d hoped, I stop at one bite and throw it away, then find something else to eat. You don’t need to eat an entire thing of something you dislike.
