👍 looks bomb. Was the jalapeño one of the sneaky hot ones?

Care to share the refried beans recipe? Just made a batch and it seems to be a twinge off what its supposed to be.
Currently trying to perfect making them from dried beans using a pressure cooker.
1. 1.5 cups dry pinto beans in slow cooker
2. 1/2 small onion
3. 1 while Serrano, stem removed
4. 2 bay leaves
5. Generous sprinkles cumin
6. Pour in water till about 1/4 inch above ingredients
And then pressure cook for 50 minutes, wait for steamer to cool naturally then remove bay leaves and separate liquid and bean mixture. Then smash bean/onion/Serrano mixture with potato smasher adding a bit if bean water till right consistency.
Tastes good but don’t end up with a velvety consistency and still seems like some beans aren’t cooked/smashed enough. Any recommendations? Thank you so much
