
Despite the fact I have a midterm tomorrow, I still needed to suppress my hunger. Tonight I made Lentil Bolognese, since I have started orthodox lent today, what better way to start than to make a lentil based dish that’s packed with protein, fiber, and nutrients!!

Recipe? I have a ton of lentils.
If this is done with BEEF STOCK. that would be delish.
The black “beluga” lentils are great for this, as they remain pretty solid whereas other lentils may go a bit mushy.

Looks like Dal Masoor at first glance. I’m sure it was delicious.
Looks great, how is the texture, i tried it once or twice but it always feels a bit mushie.
I have changed to a mix of minced beef and chick peas.
