Hi!! I'm sorry if this formated wrong or breaking some reddit law I don't know. I don't post much. But I figured that people here may be able to help. There has been for the last year or so this specific hot honey cheddar cheese that I've been getting from Walmart. For about 2 weeks now they have not had it in stock and I'm coming to find out now or, at least I believe, that they may stop selling it there?
I use this cheese for special charcuterie boards I make for people I care about and for small dinner plates for myself. I am on the autism spectrum and don't have allot of money to spend on food. But it is a small luxury I afford myself for comfort. It may sound silly but it really does make me happy and I am very attached to this cheese. (Why I mention I am on the spectrum, as it's become a very big safe food of mine with apples and has sometimes become one of the only dinners I will eat)
All of the places I have looked withen 3 hours of me do not have it. The nearest Walmart that says they only have it in stock for pickup orders is about 1 hour away and I don't even know if they'll actually have it when I get there as I know Walmart is weird about how truthful they are, and will sometimes randomly give my dad substitutions for pickup and delivery orders when things have said they're in stock.
Instacart says they have it but when you actually go into the app to purchase is suddenly disappears and just gives you other cheese alternatives.
I've seen some other places I could order online and have it shipped to me but when I go to them they don't allow, I don't know if it's because I live in America or what.(I could be wrong, but I looked it up and I think the brand is British? Also on the package it says from Yorkshire lol) Allot of these cheese sites seem to just flat out not have it. Or it's some random grocery website that wants me to pay 25-30$ minimum for a delivery, all I want is my cheese maybe 2 wedges of it.
The most promising thing I've seen is delivery from the nearest piggly wiggly, which because I don't live in the Midwest or the south, is 4/5 hours away. And again, has the 25$ minimum. Please all I want is a place to reliably buy this cheese maybe a couple wedges at a time. Who knows maybe it'll come back to Walmart but it's been half a month and all the other walmarts besides one withen an hour from me are "out of stock" last time something like this happened to me the item never came back.
Does anyone know any place online to buy this cheese? I'm thinking about driving the hour to this Walmart and going in myself to see if they have it but thought I'd ask here first:((((????
