Half were crushed, half uncrushed for comparison, all were fabulous! No need for 60+ minute roasties. Super crispy, creamy inside

  2. Aaahhh, so oil *in the tray*. I actually tried this 2 nights ago but struggled to get browning. I just tossed the boiled potatoes in oil, salt and some herbs, and put them on the tray with no additional oil

  3. Look great and thanks for the recipe. 200c = ~400f for anyone surprised by the recited temps.

  4. You can also do this in a cast iron skillet. Start on the stove (heat the oil and layer in the potatoes) and finish in the oven. It might be a bit easier for some to manage than a hot tray of oil in the oven.

  5. Did you have to torture me with all 10 photos of these amazing roasties? It’s 11pm and they’re all I can think about now!
