As my husband describes it, “triple-cream brie is like if cheese were butter.” It’s delightful spread on baguette slices with jam (we had sour cherry jam with ours at Christmas).

Formager d’Affinois is so good! I cut a wheel of it today, usually about 2 wheels a week.

  3. Not sure which 500 dollar cheese you are referring to. Do you mean the half wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano(I think)? Depending on age, that’s not surprising.

WTF have they done to that piece of Brie??? That cheese is lovely. Let it sit out for a while before diving into it.

I’m assuming by little ones you mean the first picture?
But that is a Brie. As Zombie said, that one specifically basically tastes like butter!

You can have it on crackers, can pair it with your favorite jam, some like going savory with it.

Brie can be also used for baking!

I don’t see a price, but the second one is Parm Reggiano, it’s sold in large wheels, quarters or halves usually to stores and restaurants. We buy in whole wheels, but we probably go through about at least wheel every month. And WAY more during the holidays.

Usually, the everyday person just buy the small cuts. Great for various recipes. The rind can be used for sauces, soups, or heated into a snack itself.

I’ve never had someone buy a quarter or more hunk of Parm, but people do. It’s a cheese that lasts A LONG while.
