Got a 4.5lb boneless choice prime rib for $75 from Sam's Club. Cooked at 250 for about 2.5 hours and then 5 min at 500 after a 40 minute rest. Turned out really good this year.

I use the same recipe. I let the meat dry for a few days then season 36 hours prior to cooking, including six hours to get to room temperature. Always a hit.

  2. Blow people’s minds and make a random one at sometime during the year and deliver it to your friends or family for dinner. It will be completely unexpected and make their month.
