First time making steak sandwich. Shelled out for Christmas and got some Australian wagyu ribeyes from Costco. Not sure what to put on it. Pesto, chilli oil and avocado on toasted sourdough. Unfortunately, the Costco pesto wasn't very good. How did I do?

Not a bad combo but I’d recommend going simpler in the future. Good steak doesnt need much added to it
I’d just go with the steak and some caramelised onions.
