Burger night! This week’s special had home ground chuck and flatiron smash patties, American and Muenster cheese, iceberg lettuce, bacon, hot Chicago-style Giardiniera, and my maple mustard sauce, on a buttered and griddled Martin’s potato bun. My wife her classic lettuce, tomato, pickle and the same sauce.

    I’ve a genuine question. What is the appeal of a burger that is paper thin? Why do people like it?
