Just saying, it's got similar macros to most of the bars out there and it's more psychologically filling. Savoury and warm and super fast to heat up. Plus they're currently on sale at Kroger stores, 4 for $10, which puts it on par or even cheaper than many protein bars!

I thought the chicken would be weird but it's actually decent lol

  1. Man I miss these a lot 😭
I used to eat them frequently but the sodium started catching up to me LOL

  2. So, when I was 16 eons ago, I got depressed and got up to like 200 pounds. I wasn’t calorie counting or anything at that time but I would just have one or two of these for dinner every night when I decided I had had enough and I lost 60 pounds in six months lol. They still hold a very special place in my heart.

These things were a lifesaver!! They helped me lose so much weight so easily. But I don’t think they sell these in my country anymore 🙁

  4. I could easily stick with 1200 when I was eating these. Sometimes I would buy just the spring rolls and eat some white rice on the side lol.

  5. are these filling enough to be an actual dinner/lunch? Or do ppl pair these with something else also?

they gave me serious texture ick but i wanted to like them badly :(( i’ve enjoyed other ones by the same bran but the chicken didn’t taste right to me/texture felt hella dry. the shrimp alfredo one is really good tho! which is saying something since im normally not a fan of pasta in general ! highly suggest shrimp alfredo and shrimp scampi both

  7. Yeah, I’ll take actual food over a protein supplement or bar any day, that stuff upsets my tummy :<

Good call – thanks for sharing this! And everyone else who also shared other similar ones that are also good! Super helpful reminder.

They have a turkey and cranberry one that’s 190 that’s good too. But I definitely got a bit sick of them.

  11. I used to stock up on Lean Cuisines when they went on sale for like 5/$10. And that was when they were regularly priced at like $2.50 when NOT on sale. I can’t believe how expensive they are these days! (Could just be my region) The price per calorie isn’t sustainable for me, BUT – they are damn good. I used to love the original Korean beef one.

  12. Does lean cuisine still have that Szechuan noodle entree?  That used to be my favorite one like 15 years ago.  The Szechuan sauce in it was iconic, tasted better than any other Szechuan dish I’ve ever had.  Find myself craving it randomly after all these years.

  13. I found the Swedish Meatballs (fantastic btw) at my local discount store for $1 a box and as of now I have about 20 in my freezer.

  14. I generally agree but I can’t take this fresh from the kitchen with zero prep time and eat it on the go.

And it also has a lot more sodium than I want sometimes.

But I do like a number of these meals in general.
