[Homemade] Italian spinach Malfatti (Gnudi) with marinara
Basically simple italian dumplings, usually made with ricotta. I had mozarella and hoped for the best. Lucky they didn't fall apart when cooked. Quick homemade marinara sauce and fresh basil.

Gnudi? Is this a northern Italian dish by any chance?
The Germans, especially around Bayern and Austria have something similar called Knödel. It is sometimes made with Spinach and served with cheese-sauce. I wonder if they share common history.
