Once a year we like to splurge on Katz’s delivered. They actually ship for free with a $100 minimum so I’ll usually get a pound of pastrami, pound of brisket, bagels and some other stuff to meet the minimum. To me it’s a pretty good deal because the sandwiches in their store at like $40 and are ridiculous to try and eat all at once. I can get at least 3-4 good lunches out of a pound and not need dialysis from all the salt.
Here it’s olive oil loaf, Duke’s mayo, Trader Joe’s garlic Dijon aioli, lacey Swiss cheese and pastrami piled on, all toasted together.

Awesome! How is it? Ironically I just ordered a dozen Levain Cookies, with the Amex credit it was actually cheaper than in store but have to order a dozen..

I literally just ordered the Taste of New York package not less than 5 minutes ago…lol. I’ve been craving the pastrami since I went to Katz last year when I was in NYC.

My kids sent me a gift box for my birthday, a pound each of pastrami, corned beef and Swiss cheese. Loaf of rye,sauerkraut,deli mustard,Rueben sauce,and a dozen black and white cookies
They wouldn’t let me share with them so I was FORCED to enjoy 4 oversized sandwiches over the course of 2 weeks. One of the best gifts I ever received
