All I found in my fridge last night was a fennel bulb, so I just sliced it up and fried it in some butter and a bit of olive oil. Super simple, but it turned out really good.

Recipe:

-Cut the fennel in half or into quarters

-Melt some butter in a pan and add a little olive oil so the butter doesn’t burn

-Fry the fennel on medium to high heat until it starts to caramelize

-Add a little vegetable broth, chicken broth, or some white wine

-Put a lid on the pan and leave it on high heat for about 5 minutes

-Put it on a plate with the sauce from the pan and add some cheese on top (any cheese works)

-Eat it with garlic bread and a glass of wine

That’s literally it. Easy and tasted way better than expected lol.
