Just passed my chef exam with this. What do you think?

The pear needed a bit more color if you ask me, but it was boiled for 40' in wine and left in it overnight.

    I think the carrot puree could have been more elegantly presented so tighter piping next time or go with a smear/swoop (spoon push).

    Also what sauce is on the duck? I think a little more would balance the colours and provide moisture (and acidity presumably as it looks quite a sweet plate).

    It all looks a bit off tbh – the duck looks undercooked, you could have taken the pear cores out, and the carrot puree might have been better presented.

    Ok not to be mean I’m glad you enjoy cooking. But you passed with this? Pears aren’t cored, duck is under, presentation is well…Carrot poops.
