As Brits we’re not really allowed to get all high and mighty about food, and that’s fair enough. But by god there’s a few sacred dishes I will protect with all my honour.
1. A good Sunday roast
2. A full English
3. A scrummy, piping hot, bloody good show old chap Apple Crumble
That tosh on the waffle is not apple crumble, at best it is apple filling with Lotus biscuit crumbs. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
I would be remiss if I didn’t say that it still looks delicious, don’t tell anyone I said that.
