I was just messing around and put an egg in my bread. Then I thought, what if I made a grilled cheese like this?
Then I put shit cheese and spinach inside. And it was super bomb
I looked it up to see if this was a thing, and apparently it's called "Egg-in-a-hole grilled cheese". I'm not sure why, but 90% of the photos I saw looked gross and horrible. Does mine look gross and horrible? It didn't TASTE gross and horrible.
Next time I'll use better butter (kerrigold) and also better cheese instead of processed. Maybe sharp cheddar or Swiss. Or both?
Give ideas please!
Anyway it made my morning feel really good and I'm glad I stumbled on it 🙂

How do you get the bread so browned while insides runny for your egg-in-a-hole? I always end uo with firm yolks.
