🤮 So much sugar. I remember used to being really into sweets, but now I can’t really stomch more than a bite or two. Especially with American treats, it’s not even flavor anymore its just sugar, sugar, and more sugar. I’m not judging, I actually kind of miss being able to enjoy the holiday treat menagerie. Most I can handle now are tea biscuits or digestives with my morning cup.
When I was trying to resist tempations though I would juat meticulously account for anything I had. So, I never told myself I couldn’t have them. I just made sure I write down and logged them into my daily calorie journal to keep myself accountable. Then I didnt feel deprived, still got to have my treat, and didnt have guilt for lack of accountability. It really made me savor my afternoon tea cookie like a ritual.
