I’ve been following a diet of ~1,500 calories for 25 days and I’m happy with the difference I’m seeing and feeling.

One of the best changes in my body is not it’s appearance, but in my body’s utilization of food. Before, I constantly felt like I was starving and would snack on empty calories all day to ward off that dreaded blood sugar crash. Now I’m more mindful of the ingredients/food I eat and that constant hunger is totally gone! I can eat a small meal and feel totally satiated for hours. It feels like I’m back in control of my body and off the rollercoaster of glucose spikes.

Excited to see the changes I’ll experience in the coming months. Thank you to this wonderful group for all the inspiration and support you offer!

That is awesome! If you don’t mind me asking, what did you eat to keep you more satiated?

This is amazing! Can I ask what types of meals are you eating to feel satiated for so long? This is my struggle and I can’t stop snacking!

Wow you look amazing! How are you counting your calories? Do you weigh your food or anything like that? Also- do you allow yourself “cheat” days where you go over 1500?

  5. I read somewhere it’s recommended to go on a week of s diet break to help maintain high metabolism and prevent fat cells storing water after about 3-4 weeks of high calorie restriction.
