

This is a super simple and healthy dessert that my nonna from central Italy used to make, it consist only in 3 ingredients. Walnuts, honey and bay leaves. Basically a medieval energy bar.
You just have to grind the walnuts, not too small, cook them with honey just to make a paste. Make a slim block and than make a sandwich with bay leaves. Leave at room temperature 1 week and enjoy

Are you supposed to eat it with the bay leaves or is it just as a wrapper / imparts the flavor ?
