Such an strong flavour, I bought this in a shop on my visit to Spain. They said it is similar to the normal ones but it really has nothing to do in my opinion. Is a must to try this type of food if you come to Spain
Raw is not really an appropriate term for this as it suggests it needs cooking, but it does not. It is a dried sausage in the salami style, that you cut in to coin thickness slices to enjoy with a drink. I have mine with some olives and a glass of red wine quite often before dinner. A seller of a homemade ones once told me, leave it in the cupboard instead of the fridge, and he was right, in the fridge they get hardened, left at room temperature they are chewy. If it gets starts to get old before you finish it, add it to stews – it is fine with Chicken, beef or pork.
