It was 1800ml batter that should be used up in 4 days according to the package. I will use the rest for leftover meat stews. This was my first proper attempt and they turned out decent. I didn’t have gunpowder with me so I substituted it for some sichuan peppercorns for a kick.
To make the coconut chutney, I basically blended some medium coconut with a bit of water, roasted Bengal gram, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, mint, coriander, chillies, salt, pepper and then toasted curry leaves, black mustard seeds, a bit more garlic in ghee before pouring it over the blended mixture and mixing it up.
